[PDF] Organic Chemistry Demystified Daniel Bloch

I chose this over the DUMMIES organic guide because I find the DUMMIES series formats visually unappealing, which makes a lot of difference in whether I actually want to sit down and read the book.

There was a great deal of information in the book, most of which was explained fairly well, but unlike one of the other reviewers, I wish that the author HAD spent more time on more basic concepts. I know a little about organic, though, so for me, it wasn’t that big of a deal.

I found the treatment of topics pretty thorough, and I would generally recommend the book, but I wouldn’t recommend it by itself. Having something else along with it would be more helpful. Of course, isn’t that the case for most textbook-like books? One source just isn’t enough if you really want a complete grasp of the material.
